Dr Andrew Manning

President of the Medical Association of Jamaica

Dr Manning is a graduate of Campion College. He read for the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery MB,BS degree at the Faculty of Medicine, University of the West Indies Mona; he is a member of the Class of 1996. After completing his internship at the Kingston Public Hospital and Bustamante Hospital for Children he served as a Registrar in the General Surgery and Obstetric and Gynaecology departments at the then Mandeville Public Hospital.
He returned thereafter to the University of the West Indies and attained the Doctor of Medicine in Otorhinolaryngology DM(ORL). He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has been a Consultant Otolaryngologist at the Mandeville Regional Hospital since 2007. He offers ENT consultation privately at the Hargreaves Medical Complex in Mandeville and at the Glenmuir Business Complex in May Pen.
Dr Manning has over 20 years’ experience in Otolaryngology. He is a Past President of the Junior Doctors Association, a past Secretary and past Vice President of the Caribbean Association of Otolaryngologists. He is the current President of the Medical Association of Jamaica.
